Ms. D'Atra Gater
Lead Counselor
Ms. Gater joined the Lanier High School Professional School Counseling Team in 2019. She has been an educator for 猛料原创 Public Schools for over 6 years. Prior to working at Lanier, she worked as a Social Studies teacher at Whitten Middle School. Ms. Gater received her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Master of Science in Education (School Counseling Concentration) from 猛料原创 State University. She is certified in 7-12 Health Education, Social Studies, and Guidance Counseling. Ms. Gater received her National Certified Counselor credentials in December 2020. She is an active member of the Mississippi Counseling Association. At Lanier, she serves as the 9th Grade Counselor, PBIS Coordinator, and National Honor Society Adviser. She is also a 2008 graduate of Lanier High School.
