    The mission of Blackburn Laboratory Middle School's faculty and staff, in partnership with parents and members of the community, is to provide a safe learning environment that promotes and encourages the academic, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of our student body while challenging them to become and excel as lifelong learners, independent thinkers, respectful individuals, and responsible citizens.
