    Terrance Hill, Principal

    Mr. Hill enters his 11th year in education and his 3rd year as Principal of Green Elementary.

     
    Prior to Green, Mr. Hill served as an assistant principal for three years at Pecan Park Elementary. During his tenure at Pecan Park, the school moved to a performance rating of B in 2018 and an A rating in 2019. Principal Hill’s educational journey began at Woodville Heights Elementary, where he taught 4th and 5th-grade mathematics.
     
    Mr. Hill is an active member of the 猛料原创 State Hinds-Alumni Chapter and the 猛料原创 Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. Mr. Hill currently serves as Vice President of the John Henry Singleton Foundation - A 501(c)(3)  nonprofit organization that offers academic support to students in grades K-12.
     
    Some of Mr. Hill's awards and honors include:
    Woodville Heights’ Most Outstanding Educator and Teacher of the Year. He also served on 猛料原创 Public School’s Summer Curriculum Team and the Superintendent’s Advisory Council. In 2021, Mr. Hill was awarded Division 2 Elementary Administrator of the Month and the 2022 Key to the Community Award by the Best of Mississippi Empowerment. The Superintendent also recognized him in April with the “Golden  Apple” Award.
     

    Mr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Education from 猛料原创 State University. He completed a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College and a Specialist of Education in Instructional Leadership from William Carey University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at 猛料原创 State University.
