- How long have you been teaching?Having been a teacher for 13 years, I can confidently say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my journey. Time flies by quickly when you have a passion for what you do.
- What is a major goal you want to accomplish this year?This year, I am determined to incorporate technology into my classroom to provide scholars with more interactive and personalized learning opportunities while supporting ELA. Utilizing new tools and teaching strategies can enhance learning and make it more engaging and efficient.
- Why do you enjoy teaching? Teaching is not a one-dimensional profession; it involves motivating young minds and observing their growth and development. When I witness a scholar's "aha!" moment or see them overcome a challenge they once thought was impossible, I am reminded of the immense impact educators can have on scholars. It is incredibly rewarding to know that I play a part in their journey of self-discovery and growth.
- What are you most excited about for this upcoming school year? One of the most exciting aspects of the upcoming school year is the opportunity to meet diverse students. Interacting with individuals from various backgrounds, each with unique talents and personalities, is always a pleasure. I am eager to facilitate and observe how diverse scholars come together as a learning community. It is a constant source of inspiration to see their collective growth and progress as they work towards achieving their goals.
