I am the Lead Counselor and 8th Grade Counselor at Cardozo Middle School. This is my 26th year as a state employee and my 22nd year of being a Professional School Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Specialist in Education degrees from 猛料原创 State University. I began my School Counselor Career at McLaurin Elementary in the Rankin County School District. Later, I had the awesome privilege to work at Hardy Middle School as a Counselor where I remained for 5 years. In the Fall of 2010, two new middle schools emerged in the 猛料原创 Public School District. I was afforded the opportunity to work as a counselor at Cardozo Middle School, where I have since remained. I have two awesome children, Christian and Amani, two vibrant dogs, Trina and Apollo, and an outstanding husband T’Juan. My motto is “We are not in this World for ourselves, if we were, we would be in this World by ourselves”.
